P J Brown Has A Change Of Heart About Leaving Chicago Bulls

In December 2006, P J Brown wanted to leave the Chicago Bulls and head for greener pastures and now Brown has apologized for his public plea to be traded. At the point when Brown, a 13 year NBA player and captain of the Bulls, made this plea, it was evident that he was frustrated about getting limited playing time.

However, Mark Bartelstein, Brown’s agent, informed that he and general manager John Paxson had agreed to keep all options open and incase a good deal that was acceptable to both parties came along, the move would be seen through.

Brown now has gone back. He wants to stay with the Bulls because he think that the team can achieve something special. This came after Scott Skiles admitted that he would have to find different and better ways of utilizing Brown, who started each game of the last three games won by the Bulls.

37 year old Brown is interested in sign another deal with the Bulls. However, the Bulls are not interested in it. His $8 million salary in an expiring contract could prove to be extremely important for the Bulls to land an interior scorer in a deal before the trade deadline of February 22, 2007.

Skiles admits that Brown is an excellent player and that he can sometimes rebound without jumping. Other players have a difficult time scoring on him when he is being defensive.

Should Brown leave Bulls then the one teammate who will miss Brown a lot is rookie forward Tyrus Thomas, who is from Louisiana just like Brown.
